Hello everyone. I am Shima from Oubaitori.com.
Today, I would like to introduce the concept and the spirit behind our original Buddhist altar, the “Koku-Zushi.”

■ Finding “Only Daimoku” at the End of a Deadlock

Three years ago, I was facing a severe deadlock in my life. To be honest, I wasn’t good at chanting Daimoku. Even when I did Gongyo and Shodo, I was always checking the clock. My faith at that time wasn’t enough to fundamentally change my destiny (Karma).

When I finally resolved that “only Daimoku can break through this,” I had a realization: “I will design a Butsudan that makes me want to chant—a Butsudan that naturally draws out the Daimoku from within.”

■ Design that Recreates the “Ceremony in the Air”

The design features a 3D structure that makes the Gohonzon appear as if floating in the air. The background uses “Matte Black” to symbolize the vastness of the Universe.

Furthermore, it is equipped with dimmable LEDs that allow you to adjust the light according to your eyes. This design embodies the “Ceremony in the Air” described in the Lotus Sutra, allowing you to feel the profound dignity of the Gohonzon instantly through your sight and consciousness.

■ An Altar with “Experimental Proof” of 10 Million Daimoku

Thanks to this Butsudan, chanting 10,000 Daimoku every day has become my greatest joy. In just a few days, I will reach my goal of **10 Million Daimoku**. The Koku-Zushi is more than just an altar; it is a product of my own faith experience—an altar with “Experimental Proof.”

The mission of a Soka Gakkai Butsudan is to support our prayer. Ultimately, it all comes down to Daimoku. My new mission is to create a whirlwind of Daimoku all over the world. I invite you to experience this in our showroom.
