Today, I would like to introduce a **”One-of-a-Kind Custom Altar”** created specifically to fulfill a customer’s special request.

■ It All Started with: “I want to place it in my closet.”

The client for this project had a sincere request: “I want to effectively use the space inside my closet as a place for the Gohonzon.”
However, standard altars have doors. Considering the space needed to open doors, installing one inside a closet with limited depth and width was extremely difficult.

It’s easy to say “It can’t be done.” But I thought to myself:
“It would be perfect if there were no doors—provided it remains the most dignified and solemn space possible.”

■ Smart Glass Solves the “Installation Barrier”

The solution we adopted was the latest **”Smart Glass” (Liquid Crystal Glass)**. With the flip of a switch, it instantly changes from frosted to transparent. Since there is no need for space to swing doors open, we were able to design a unit that fits perfectly inside a closet.

Furthermore, we integrated our “Koku-Zushi” system—the crystallization of my soul. With remote-controlled dimming and color tone adjustment, even a compact space transforms into a “Grand Hall for Kosen-rufu,” echoing the vastness of the universe.

■ A Battle of Millimeters and a Rotating Pedestal

What makes this truly special is that the height, width, and depth were all specified down to the millimeter. Inside, we installed a “Rotating Pedestal.” I was obsessed with the angle adjustment to ensure the Gohonzon looks most beautiful from any perspective.

Born from my struggle to reach 10 million Daimoku, this “Device for Chanting” has evolved into a form perfectly suited for modern housing through the power of the latest technology.
