Morning Daimoku #1,210 — Sink or Swim, Every Single Day

Good morning. I hope you’re doing well today. This is Shima from Oubaitori. This is my Morning Daimoku — 10,000 Daimoku a Day journal.

Up at 3:30

Today I ended up waking at 3:30. From the moment I started, it may have felt almost like ushitora gongyo, the pre-dawn prayer.

An Honored Guest Today

Today a guest who brings me real joy — it’s an honor — is coming to our showroom. They’re even bringing others with them, and they’ve made a reservation. Thank you so much.

The Seventh Draft of My Book, LB³

And this connects to that guest. Yesterday and today I kept refining and refining, and I have now finished the seventh draft of my book, LB³ — right up to the point just before printing.

I want to hand that printed draft to today’s guest. It may be the final version, or maybe one before the final. Either way, we’ve made a new page of history.

Sink or Swim, Every Single Day

Every single day is a challenge. Every single day, will I evolve or not? It’s sink or swim.

Really, everyone — there’s nothing but Let’s Daimoku!

Gratitude, and Daimoku as My Foundation

I’m grateful for these days, when I can live like this — strong, positive, one step at a time. Grateful to the Gohonzon. Grateful for this faith.

And to all my fellow members across Japan and around the world: I will live simply and earnestly, with daimoku as my foundation, for the happiness of both myself and others.

Today is November 3, 2026 — Culture Day here in Japan, I believe.

Let’s Daimoku! Thank you again today. Thank you very much.

Today’s Question

Every day is a challenge — sink or swim. What new history will you make today?

Bloom your own way, at your very best.
