Yesterday Became the Greatest Day of Value Creation

Good morning. I hope you are well today. This is Shima of Oubaitori.com, with my morning record of 10,000 daimoku.

Yesterday — thanks to all of you — became a truly tremendous, truly wonderful day. The greatest day of value creation.

I Had Been Deliberating and Planning for a Week

In preparing to face yesterday, I had been thinking it through for about a week beforehand — considering it from every angle, deliberating, planning, making arrangements. And it turned out beyond what I had prayed for, beyond what I had expected: a very, very large day, a historic day for me. You may think that sounds exaggerated, but it is simply the truth.

In Time It Will Open the Way to Victory, as Dreams and Hope

That great history of yesterday will, in time, become great dreams and great hope in our lives, and open the way to victory. And precisely because the situation was difficult, we connect — many in body, one in mind. Bonds deepen one more step. I was able to experience that reality for myself. On the way, in the car, Kimura and I were able to talk about many things.

I Am Aiming Neither for Completeness nor Perfection

In this turbulent, defiled age, with shojin as the foundation and daimoku as the foundation — so that you may shine at your very best. How I, Yukihiro Shima, will carry out my work and my mission, and how I will develop it from here: I hope you will look forward to seeing it.

Of course, I am not aiming to be complete. I am not aiming to be perfect. Wholeheartedly, sincerely, seriously, every single day — believing in myself completely, carrying the mission and the responsibility of my work as a specialist store for Soka Gakkai Buddhist altars, and opening up possibility. I want my days to be like that. That, I believe, is a life of value creation. That is the drama of human revolution.

I will go on creating my own drama of human revolution.

Let’s Daimoku!
