Good morning, and how are you today? This is Shima from Oubaitori. This is my Morning Daimoku — 10,000 Daimoku Experience.

The typhoon has passed — a clear autumn morning

The typhoon has finally passed, and we have welcomed a clear autumn morning. I feel refreshed.

Yesterday I was chanting daimoku asking, “Please somehow keep us safe.” A night later, we have been blessed with this wonderful autumn sky.

Everything is alive; everything has life

In today’s daimoku, I deeply felt that all of this is the working of life — that it means everything is alive.

Everything is alive. Everything has life. And that is why it keeps changing, changing. Perhaps nothing ever follows the same pattern. That is what I felt.

With fresh, vibrant life — a day of value creation

Today again, with new, fresh, vibrant life, making Nam-myoho-renge-kyo my foundation, just as President Ikeda has guided us, in accord with Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism, I want to create value today. Even for a short time, I want to take action for the happiness of both myself and others. With that wish and prayer, I finished my daimoku.

May today be a bright day. May it be a day of value creation.
