Good morning. I hope you’re doing well today. This is Shima from Oubaitori. This is my Morning Daimoku journal.
Yesterday, too, a great many things happened.
So Much Has to Move at Once
The more you take on, the more things there are. It’s not that I’m trying to move them all at once — they have to move at the same time. And naturally, some will be done in three days, some in a week, and some are things for half a year from now. I’m moving all of that forward. I think it’s proof that I’m thinking about many things in parallel and carrying out many things.
Anticipate, Plan, and Act
So, will everything go the way I thought? Almost never. But even so, I anticipate, I plan, and I act. If I don’t act, there’s nothing — just living day to day.
Living day to day sounds nice too. Part of me would like to try it. But since I’m alive and have this life, I have my own sense of where I stand right now. So yes, I have that feeling, but it’s not what I want right now.
Present and Future — In Three Months, It’s 2027
What I want right now. And now, since we live for both the present and the future, three months from now it will already be next year — 2027. That’s the time we’re facing. How I think, and how I put it into practice — I believe that is extremely important.
Let’s Daimoku! Today, too, I’m moving forward at full speed. Thank you again today.
Today’s Question
Living for both the present and the future, with three months ahead in view — what will you plan, and what will you act on today?
Bloom your own way, at your very best.
