Good morning. I hope you’re doing well today. This is Shima from Oubaitori. This is my Morning Daimoku journal — ten thousand daimoku each morning.
Today is Saturday, November 7. I’ll be starting a YouTube Live this morning, so please join me.
Toward the 100th Anniversary: The 2027 Theme Has Arrived
And yesterday, this arrived: the stand displaying next year’s theme for 2027 — a year of bold, joyful advance (Yuyaku Zenshin) toward the 100th anniversary of the Soka Gakkai’s founding. A smaller version is also on its way, so please look forward to it. Bold, joyful advance — isn’t that wonderful?
November, the Month of Our Founding: How Will We Change?
How about you? We’re already in November. Just two months left. And then we enter 2027. It moves me deeply. How has this year been for you?
It’s not yet time to look back on the whole year. But that’s exactly why, in this month of our founding, I believe we need a strong inner resolve (ichinen): how will we create value, and how will we change our own lives — in this one month, in this one week, and today?
Looking Back on the Week, Reflecting, and Connecting
In my morning daimoku, I looked back on this past week. Here’s where I fell short. Ah, so this is where my thinking was off.
And here — ah, so that’s what it was all about. Reflecting on things and connecting them in different ways, it became a truly rich session of ten thousand daimoku.
Let’s Daimoku! May today be a wonderful, the very best of days. Let’s create value together. Thank you.
Today’s Question
November is the month of our founding. Looking back on this past week — what will you change today, and how?
Bloom your own way, at your very best.
