Morning Daimoku #1,215 — Every Day Is a Drama: Opening the Doors of the Heart

Good morning. I hope you’re doing well today. This is Shima from Oubaitori. This is my Morning Daimoku journal — ten thousand daimoku each morning.

Every day is a drama, isn’t it? Truly wonderful dramas — my heart is full of deep emotion and inspiration.

Opening Our Hearts, Recognizing and Praising One Another

Each encounter, each connection with a person. Meeting face to face and talking together.

And as we open the doors of each other’s hearts one by one, we find ourselves saying, “Oh, so that’s how it was!” We come to see each other’s lives — “So that is the life you have lived” — and we recognize and praise one another. As fellow members of the Soka family, we resolve: from here, let us show even greater proof of faith. This week especially, there were so many such dramas.

From Monday through Saturday. And today a new drama begins. Every single day, I have been living wonderful, moving days. And today, once again, I make a fresh start.

Resolve, Courage, and the Power to Act — Charging Ahead Through Daimoku

This week too there will be all kinds of challenges, and there is a self who can win through them — I am here. Taking myself one step forward.

That resolve, that courage, and the power to actually move forward in reality — through daimoku, all of this will charge ahead even further. Thank you, and let’s make today a great day.
