Good morning! How are you doing today? This is Shima.
This is report No. 1,076 on chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo ten thousand times each morning — and today I again gave myself fully to this practice.

昨日は日曜日でしたね。午前中は壮年部・男子部の座談会がありました。この内容はまた改めて、別の動画でじっくりお話しさせていただきたいと思います。
Yesterday was Sunday. In the morning we held a discussion meeting for the Men’s and Young Men’s Divisions. I’d like to share more about that in a separate video soon.
父の日と妻の誕生日、娘たちのサプライズ
A Surprise from My Daughters: Father’s Day & My Wife’s Birthday
そして午後からは、泊まりに来てくれていた次女・三女と孫たち5人。私自身は全く予定していなかったんですが、娘たちが「父の日」と妻の誕生日を合同でお祝いしようと、こっそり計画してくれていたようなんですよ。
In the afternoon, my second and third daughters — who were staying over with my five grandchildren — had a surprise for me. I had no idea, but it turned out they had secretly planned a joint celebration for Father’s Day and my wife’s birthday.
座談会が終わって自宅に戻ったら、もう盛大なるサプライズ。これには本当に胸がいっぱいになりました。この様子もまた、別の動画でお伝えできたらと思っております。
When I got home after the discussion meeting, a wonderful celebration was waiting. My heart was so full. I hope to share more of this moment in another video too.

この根本は、間違いなくレッツ題目なんですね。
And the foundation of all of this is, without question, Let’s Daimoku.
人生では、本当に様々な体験をします。苦しい体験、もう嫌になっちゃうようなこと、正直とても多いと思うんですよ。でも、自分自身には、自分にしかできない使命があるわけです。
Life brings all kinds of experiences. Honestly, there are so many painful moments — times that make us want to give up. But each of us has a mission that only we can fulfill.
今まで、私が築いてきたこの一家和楽の家族、孫たちも含めて―私という人間を、どんな姿で見てくれているか。それこそが、私が日々問われていることなんじゃないかなと、そんな風にも思っております。
How my family — this harmonious household I’ve built, including my grandchildren — sees the person I am: that’s the question I feel I face every single day.
昨日は本当にいい一日を過ごすことができました。それと並行して、様々な研究にも取り組むことができましたので、こちらもまた別の動画でアップしたいと思います。
Yesterday truly was a wonderful day. Alongside it, I was also able to work on some research, which I’ll share in another video as well.
今日は6月22日、月曜日スタートです。楽しみな一週間になりますね。
