A roller coaster that starts to feel good
Here is what came to me during daimoku today. I truly want you to taste this feeling of fullness.
Every day runs like a roller coaster — a strange way to put it, I know. At first you brace against it. Then you get used to it, and it starts to feel good.
The same person, in the same situation. As the experience builds, how does that person change? That is the life I am enjoying right now.
Sensei’s words: it is change, change, change
Things change from September. Things change from October. Rules made by the country, the way society works, the shift of the times — there is a great deal of it. And inside all that, my own life changes in all kinds of ways too.
Sensei has said it as well: it is change, change, change. So how can I enjoy that change? How can I take hold of it? And do I have the strength to get over it?
However far I go, I will never give up on myself. I want days full of new challenges, full of courage, full of hope, full of dreams.
Everything is benefit
Chanting again this morning with all of that, something settled in me: everything is benefit.
