July ends today, and tomorrow August begins. Day by day, we lay down time. And within each single day, my life, and yours, is quietly being carved.

July ends, August begins — a day never comes back
A day slips by as if it were ordinary. But this July 31st comes only once in a lifetime. The same day will never return. That is why the turn of a month is a good moment to look again at how we are walking. Whatever kind of month July was for you — things that went well, things that did not — you have met this morning, and you can sit before the Gohonzon. That fact alone is a treasure.
Your life is yours to decide — decide, pray, then act
What I always say is this: your life is yours to decide. And the way a hoped-for life becomes real is simple. Decide what you truly want. Pray for it. And carry it out, exactly as you decided. Put into words, it sounds obvious. Yet the obvious is the hardest to keep. We think we have decided, and we waver. We pray, and it does not last. So we lay down one thing, then the next, carefully. It is on that road that a wish takes shape and becomes something we can see.
What you repeat each day becomes your own history
Today I have a happy report. Our YouTube subscribers have passed 6,700. Every single day, two or three people newly subscribe. Thank you, truly. Our posts on YouTube now total 5,082 videos. At least one a day, on a busy day ten. Video by video, that is how we came to be connected with 6,700 of you. This is exactly what is built by deciding, praying, and practicing every day. Nothing special — only that we kept what we decided, daily. And each one of those, without doubt, becomes the reality of a life built, of a history carved.
