A Rough Morning
Today, I’m completely worn out.
From the moment I got up, nothing worked. Until about 10:30 this morning, my body was a total wreck.
Even now, I have a heat pack on my neck. My whole body feels heavy, and I’m cold. There’s nothing I can do about it.
I’m a living, breathing human being. These things happen.
Talking It Through as a Family
But today, as I thought about where I am, my family and I were able to have an important talk — about how we go forward from here.
And I realized, once again, how important it is to talk things through as a family.
Above all, I’ll pay attention to my own health. I’ll look closely and carefully at where this leads. I’ll speak honestly with the people concerned about how things really are. And by talking it over, we’ll decide each step — so we can move forward steadily.
That is what I experienced today: how much this matters.
Life Isn’t Only Good Times
Faith for a harmonious family. Faith for achieving happiness. Faith for overcoming obstacles. Faith for health and long life. And faith for absolute victory.
We are proving these in our actual lives.
And along the way, life isn’t only good times. In a sense, there may be more days when we’re not doing well. Things may often be hard financially, too.
Rest When You Need To — Then Revive and Step Forward
But with daimoku as our foundation, we will overcome everything.
That one thing, I will never give up on.
I’ll rest when I need to rest. And then I want to revive, and take a new step forward.
That is what I felt today.
