A Deeply Moving Discussion Meeting

Yesterday’s discussion meeting — it turned into a truly, deeply moving one.

For the first time in a long while, I felt it had become a real discussion meeting.

I joined from the planning meeting beforehand. I never imagined it would unfold like this — in person, so wonderful, so moving.

It comes, I think, from the faith each person has built up steadily over time — and from our bond with the Soka Gakkai. People may see these things in different ways. But I was able to take part in a truly wonderful, moving discussion meeting. I was moved myself as I offered a few words of greeting. It was really good to be there.

A Tearful Plea to Pass On Faith

Everyone there was moved. With eyes a little wet, we shared a lovely, wonderful time together.

A father spoke to his son and his son’s wife, and to his grandchild. Through tears, he pleaded with them to carry on the family’s faith.

It was a profoundly moving moment.

This is what a discussion meeting is, isn’t it? Yesterday was truly good.

From Today, a Great New Challenge

There’s also been a great deal of work. And from today, I’ll be taking on a great new challenge.

I’ll share the details with you as things move forward. These two big months, September and October, we are adapting to the changing times — improving as we go and correcting our course.

As a founder aiming to build a company that lasts a hundred years — a thousand years — this is a very big decision.

And unless I truly commit to transforming my own destiny, to my own human revolution, I won’t be able to show this great actual proof of faith to the very end.

So I made that determination. And this morning, I set out with fresh, vibrant life force. I humbly ask for your support again this week.

Because Daimoku Is My Foundation, I Notice

Let’s Daimoku!

It’s precisely because daimoku is my foundation that I notice.

Then I correct my course. And I grasp the faith of absolute victory.

Thank you.

Today’s Question

As you chant daimoku, what “course correction” have you noticed you need right now?

Bloom your own way, at your very best.
