おはようございます。桜梅桃李.comの島でございます。今朝の1万遍の題目のなかで、「自分を諦めない」という一点を、あらためて心に刻みました。一度決めたことは、何としてもやりきる――その気持ちが、次の一歩を生むのだと感じています。

英語版『虚空厨子』が届きました / The English edition has arrived
昨日、『仏壇革命 虚空厨子』の英語版が到着しました。すぐにでも発刊できそうなところまで来ていますが、著作として世に出す以上、最善の状態でお届けしたい。よく見ると、カバーの重なりや構成に、当時は気づけなかった箇所が見えてきました。こうして次々と壁が現れるんです。

三度目の壁。それでも、やりきる / The third wall — and still, I keep going
素人の私が、外注せず、翻訳していただいた原稿を自分の手で一つの作品にしようとしている。プロに頼まない、アウトソーシングしない。今回は自分でやる――そう決めて、祈って、行動して、壁にぶつかって。この壁は、たぶん三度目です。それでも、何としてもやり遂げます。

何のためか――自分の人生のため / For what? For my own life
何のためにここまでするのか。印税でも、誰かのためでもありません。自分の人生のためです。自分が自分を諦めてしまったら、そこで終わってしまう。だから諦めない。自分を諦めないで進むことが一番価値があり、自分を大切にすることでもある。今朝、そう確信しました。

🌏 English Section — Never Give Up on Yourself
Good morning. This is Yukihiro Shima from Oubaitori.com. During this morning’s 10,000 daimoku, I renewed one resolve in my heart: never give up on yourself. Once you decide something, see it through — that spirit is what creates the next step forward.

Yesterday, the English edition of Butsudan Revolution: The Story of the Kokū Zushi finally arrived. It’s nearly ready to release, but since I’m putting it into the world as my own work, I want to deliver it in the best possible form. Looking closely, I noticed small issues in the cover and layout that I couldn’t see back then.

As an amateur, I chose to publish on Kindle without outsourcing — no professionals, no shortcuts. I decided to do it myself, prayed, took action, and ran into a wall. This is the third one now. Still, I will see it through.

For what? Not for royalties, not for anyone else — for my own life. If I give up on myself, everything ends there. So I won’t give up. Moving forward without abandoning yourself is the most valuable thing, and it means cherishing yourself. Please, never give up on yourself either. Let’s Daimoku!
