I Was Moved by Simply Changing the Order — Fulfillment Is Not the Same as Success (Morning Daimoku #1,128)

Every day is full. Thinking hard. Wrestling with things. And then stepping forward to take on the challenge. That daily rhythm itself — I feel it, deeply. It is fulfillment. How is your day?

Fulfillment Is Not the Same as Success

Fulfillment does not mean everything is going well. Many things do not. Hours poured in, and no result — that happens too. Often.

And yet. A little later, the same day that felt like a loss turns into “Ah, I see.” I learned something. Next time a similar wave comes, a voice rises inside — “I will not take that hook again.” “Given what happened, it may hold together better if I build it this way.” “Rather than pouring more hours into that, this direction may serve better.” The hours that did not pay off — later, they all become mine. Assets.

Yesterday, I Was Moved Just by Changing the Order

Yesterday, something struck me. A piece of writing I had already finished. Several parts, complete. I wrote it, so the content was already sound. But I tried rearranging the order of the parts — and I was moved. By my own words.

Not one word added. Same material. Only the order changed. And I could be moved by what I myself had written.

Perhaps Life Already Has the Material You Need

Maybe life is like this too. Before rushing outside to add something new, try rearranging what is already inside you. A completely different landscape can rise up.

When Morning Daimoku is at the root of the day, the sensitivity to notice this “order” keeps growing. Inside the same day, the same family, the same work — an order that moves you is sleeping there. And it becomes visible.
