This morning, one thought: Sometimes reality just won’t come together. And I’ve been sitting with why.

What the AI showed me about my own speech

Lately, I use AI every day. I speak. It writes down what I said. From that, we build the next step of the work.

But something keeps happening. My words come out a little unclear. The machine picks the wrong candidate from all the words we’ve used before. Context should tell it, but it doesn’t. So the text comes back a little off.

Then I edit. Sometimes I have time to catch it. Sometimes I don’t. And what gets built depends on that.

The problem is not on the other side

Here’s what I noticed. This is not about the AI’s accuracy. This is about how clearly I speak.

Do I hold a clear thought before I open my mouth? Do I say it plainly? What comes back to me is the true measure of what I actually said.

And this is not only about machines. It’s the same with family. With customers. With the people we walk beside in faith. When things don’t come together, before I blame the other side, I ask: were my own words clear?

That question was missing.

Chanting Daimoku is training in clarity

Ten thousand Daimoku before the Gohonzon each morning. For me, this is training. Training to shave away the fog inside, little by little. To make what’s in me clear.

When the heart settles, the words settle. When the words settle, the way they land begins to change. When that changes, reality begins to move.

I’m not promising anything. I’m sixty-nine, an ordinary man. I just come back to this place every morning.
