A Clear Saturday

The weather is beautiful, so let’s step outside and take a look around. Another lovely day — we’ve been blessed with wonderful weather.

If you live in or around the Kanto region, please come and visit. There’s plenty of parking.

New Arrivals, Maintenance, and Reserved Pieces

Now, let’s head inside. Yesterday the manufacturers and other suppliers came by, so things are a little messy.

This is a pre-owned butsudan that just came in. Its maintenance is about to begin. This one is already reserved by a customer. And this one here was reserved yesterday. Thank you so much. (Oh — is it facing backward?)

This is the unit we use to show customers how the automatic opening and closing doors work. This one is under maintenance. And this one is already ready for sale — I posted it on our site yesterday.

This is a new arrival: a butsudan with a chair. I posted its video yesterday, too. And this one ships out today.

Mini Butsudan on the Way — and This Week’s Delivery

A whole batch of mini butsudan came in. We had several orders, but the manufacturer was running late, so they’ll be shipping out next week.

And this one is finally getting ready for delivery. A customer visited us this week and purchased it. They were truly delighted. We’re also talking with them about remounting their scroll (hyoso-gae).

Please Let Us Know Before You Visit

And here is a Kokū Zushi with beautiful teak grain. As you can see, the showroom looks like this right now.

So when you plan to visit, please give us a quick heads-up. We want to make the space easy for you to look around, with the butsudan you’re hoping to see lined up and ready.

The Live-Stream Backdrop — and the Last Ebony Kokū Zushi

And over here — this is where I was doing a YouTube Live until just now. This is the backdrop. Lined up here are zushi-style butsudan with chairs. And behind them, more butsudan stand in a row like this.

This is an ebony Kokū Zushi. It’s the very last one. And here is the framed calligraphy: Buji Annon — safety and peace!

Also new: the second printing of Oubaitori.com Newsletter No. 17 is finished. Today it’s still at my home, by the butsudan.

Facing Every Customer Sincerely

This is how it is, day after day. I’m doing my very best, always asking how I can face each customer with sincerity.

The YouTube Live just finished, and in it I also talked about a serious shipping accident. I hope you’ll watch the live stream as well.

And now — Let’s Daimoku! Have a wonderful day.

Bloom your own way, at your very best.
