Good morning. How are you today?
Bloom your own way, at your very best. This is Shima, from Oubaitori.com.
Morning Daimoku, ten thousand — record number 1,140.
Is the summer catching up with you?
The tiredness of summer — has it started to show? Are you all right?
Heavy limbs. A head that will not quite clear.
That is heat plus fatigue. So: rest early. Earlier than you think you need to.
Do not set the air conditioner too cold. Take your rest properly.
I have to watch myself on this as well. Health comes first.
To get through this summer — Daimoku, first
To get through this summer, standing firm: Daimoku first.
You look back at yourself. You examine yourself honestly.
That feeling rises up on its own.
And on top of that, today, you begin something new.
One step. Then one step. It really is one step at a time.
Continuing is the strength
What you stack up — that is what matters.
Continuing is the strength itself. Of this I have no doubt.
What you built until yesterday. What you build today. That is another step.
One step forward. One step higher. One step deeper.
It leads there.
Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is shōjin — unbroken effort
Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is shōjin. Continuous, unbroken effort.
To pile up that effort, day after day — I believe this matters more than anything.
“Done. Finished.” That amounts to very little.
It ends in the moment it happened.
Little by little, without breaking the thread — that is what changes a life
at its foundation, and makes what is already good in it better.
So that you can bloom your own way, at your very best.
Let’s Daimoku!
Thank you for today.
