おはようございます。桜梅桃李.comの島幸弘です。気がつけば6月29日、明後日からは7月ですね。ここ数年、気候の変動が本当に激しく、地震をはじめ驚くような出来事も続いています。こんな時代だからこそ、一番大切なのは「自分の軸」ではないでしょうか。今朝も、朝の題目でその軸を確かめるところから一日が始まりました。
変化の激しい時代こそ、「自分の軸」を強く / Strengthen Your Inner Axis in Turbulent Times
各地で地震や自然災害の知らせも増え、心がざわつく場面が少なくありません。けれど、外の環境がどれだけ揺れても、揺らいではいけないものがあります。それが自分自身の「軸」です。私はこの軸を、毎朝の題目で立て直しています。お題目をしっかりと上げて、まず自分の生命力を強くする。生命力さえ強ければ、どんな変化の波が来ても、地に足をつけて立っていられるんです。今日も、そう確信して一日をスタートしました。

News of earthquakes and natural disasters keeps growing, and it is easy for our hearts to feel unsettled. Yet no matter how much the world around us shakes, there is one thing that must not waver: our own inner axis. Every morning, I re-establish that axis through chanting daimoku. By chanting strongly, I first strengthen my own life force. As long as that life force is strong, I can stand firm no matter what waves of change may come. Today, too, I began the day with that very conviction.
ご本尊をそのままにしていたら、何も変わらない / Nothing Changes Until We Pray to the Gohonzon
お題目を上げて新しいことに挑戦すると、不思議なもので、次から次へと課題が湧き上がってきます。でも、それでいいんです。その課題をまたチャレンジに変えていく—この繰り返しが、人生を一歩ずつ前へ進めてくれます。逆に、ご本尊をそのままにして、ただ手を合わせるだけでは、何も変わりません。自分も変わらない。「私は今、こういうことに挑戦しています」「これを、こうしていきたいんです」—そうやってご本尊に祈り抜くからこそ、自分の中にいるご本尊から、答えが返ってくる。私はそういう関係なのだと感じています。

When you chant daimoku and take on something new, challenges rise up one after another. And that is exactly as it should be. Turning each of those challenges back into a fresh challenge to overcome — this very cycle is what moves our lives forward, step by step. On the other hand, if we simply leave the Gohonzon as it is and only join our hands, nothing changes, and we ourselves do not change. “Right now, I am taking on this challenge.” “This is how I want to make it happen.” Because we pray to the Gohonzon in this way, the answer comes back to us — from the Gohonzon within our own life.
昨日はAIと格闘——英語版を形にしてAmazonへ / English Editions, Now Heading to Amazon
実は昨日、朝から晩まで一日中、AIと格闘していました。おかげさまで、大きな手応えのある成果を出すことができました。『仏壇革命 虚空厨子』の英語版、そして『Let’s Daimoku!』の英語版を形にし、Amazonでの公開へ向けて申請を進めることができたのです。本当は先週のうちに終えるはずでしたが、どうしても仕上がらず、昨日まる一日をかけて、ようやく整えることができました。世界中のSGIのメンバーへ、題目の素晴らしさを英語でお届けする—これもまた、ご本尊に向かって挑戦し、祈り、課題を一つずつ越えてきた中で生まれた実証だと感じています。今週は、この勢いのまま、さらに自分自身の整理整頓を進めてまいります。

Yesterday, from morning until night, I spent the entire day wrestling with AI — and thanks to that effort, I achieved something truly meaningful. I was able to bring the English editions of Butsudan Revolution: The Story of the Kokū Zushi and Let’s Daimoku! into shape, and move forward with the steps toward publishing them on Amazon. I had hoped to finish last week, but it simply would not come together, so I devoted a full day yesterday to finally getting it ready. Delivering the wonder of daimoku in English to SGI members around the world — this, too, is actual proof born from challenging myself before the Gohonzon, praying, and overcoming each obstacle one by one. This week, I will keep up this momentum and continue putting my own life in order.
結び / In Closing
今朝も、とても感動的なことがありました。これまでの感情的で表面的な考え方の奥から、もう一歩深い、新しい考え方が、すっと並走するように湧いてきたのです。これも、お題目の力にほかなりません。Let’s Daimoku!—題目に勝るものは、何もない。今日も一日、共に祈り、共に前へ進んでまいりましょう。

This morning, too, something deeply moving happened. From beneath my usual emotional, surface-level way of thinking, a deeper and newer perspective quietly emerged, running right alongside it. This is nothing other than the power of daimoku. Let’s Daimoku! — there is nothing greater than chanting. Let us pray together, and move forward together, throughout this day as well.
