Yesterday I was in a very hard state, but thankfully I was able to rest a little, and today I am back. Yesterday, October 2, World Peace Day, I talked things over with my family, and it became firmly settled that, as a team, we are many in body, one in mind. This is Morning Daimoku #1,179.
Today, I’m back
This is my Morning Daimoku 10,000 Recitations journal. Yesterday I found myself in a very difficult state, but thankfully I was able to rest a little, and today I am back.
“Toward the 100th Anniversary of Our Founding—A Year of Advancing Boldly with Joy”
Yesterday’s Seikyo Shimbun announced that the coming year will be “Toward the 100th Anniversary of Our Founding—A Year of Advancing Boldly with Joy.”
That is exactly why, at this point of change, through the fierce battle up to September 30, and then the 1st, the 2nd, and now today, the 3rd—all through that intense stretch, everything in my mind was unfolding like an F1 race.
My hopes, the things I want to do. The walls of reality. And the many things that cannot be settled by my own thinking alone. All of these were spinning around and colliding with one another.
On October 2, World Peace Day
But thankfully, I was able to talk things over with my family, and we agreed to come together once again as a team, each carrying the mission and responsibility we can fulfill. That we are many in body, one in mind—this was firmly settled yesterday, October 2, 2026, World Peace Day.
I’m only human, an ordinary person
With this footing now set, I brought everything I think about and carry out each day to a sudden stop. I think I stopped for about ten hours. In one day, I slept two days’ worth.
Well, I’m just that kind of person. I’m only human, an ordinary person. This is not a complaint or anything like that. It is how I set out anew toward the 100th anniversary—facing every hardship and adversity, and moving forward one step at a time.
Let’s Daimoku!
Bloom your own way, at your very best.
