Good morning. I hope you’re doing well today. This is Shima from Oubaitori.com. This is my Morning Daimoku — 10,000 Daimoku a Day journal.
1,200 Entries — Twelve Million Daimoku
Today marks entry #1,200. I’ve been able to keep chanting — twelve million daimoku in all.
This accumulation is enormous. Day after day, my life is revived. I notice all kinds of things, and because I notice them, I become aware of them — and that leads to wisdom.
New ideas keep coming, too. My days have become a drama of revival.
I’ve been able to keep chanting like flowing water. That moves me deeply right now.
I Used to Struggle with Daimoku
To think that I was once someone who struggled with daimoku.
It took me such a long time to realize this — what a waste, I thought. But that, too, is simply how it was.
Year Four: Breaking Through Wall after Wall
My Morning Daimoku — 10,000 Daimoku a Day journal has now entered its fourth year. Thanks to it, I’m full of energy every day — positive, proactive, growing day by day.
I’m breaking through the walls of new challenges, one after another, after another. That is what I truly feel.
Living the Way I Was Meant to Live
With daimoku as my foundation, I keep on chanting. Whatever it takes, I’m going to carry out my human revolution. I’m going to transform my destiny.
And my goal, put simply? How fully can I realize the things I want to do. I want to live the way I’ve always truly wanted to live.

Musa sanjin — the Buddha eternally endowed with the three bodies — is an important term in the teachings of Nichiren Buddhism. It refers to the three properties of a Buddha (the three bodies) that are inherently present in ordinary people, in life itself just as it is. [Soka Gakkai Buddhist study]
It’s Here! At Last, a New Turning Point
It’s here! It’s finally here. A new turning point has come.
I’m thinking I might just announce what it is on this morning’s YouTube Live — how about that?
Everyone — Let’s Daimoku!
It’s amazing. Truly wonderful. After all, Nam-myoho-renge-kyo begins with our own selves.
And I’ve been able to take that in, fully. The gears have meshed. Now — “gah!” — things are finally starting to move.
From the Edge of the Cliff — the Decisive Hit, a Home Run
My life has been nothing but hardship and trial. I’ve walked along the edge of a cliff the whole way. But —
Let’s Daimoku!
At last, the decisive hit. I’ve hit a home run! Thank you.
Today’s Question
What is the way of life you truly want to realize, with daimoku as your foundation?
Bloom your own way, at your very best.
