朝の題目1万遍体験記になります。昨日は雑音が入ってしまって、大変申し訳ございませんでした。マイクをこのように持たなければいけないのかどうか分かりませんけれども、今日もスタートさせていただいております。
Hello everyone. This is Shima from Oubaitori.com. This is my daily diary of chanting 10,000 Daimoku in the morning. I deeply apologize for the background noise in yesterday’s video. I am still figuring out the best way to hold the microphone, but I have firmly started my challenge again today.
今日はですね、お題目の中で「集中して祈る」ということに挑戦しました。
昨日の夜からですね、様々な願いがあるし希望があるわけですけれども、集中していかないと、この一念が定まらないということになるんですね。
Today, I challenged myself to “pray with absolute concentration” during Daimoku. Since last night, while meditating on various desires and hopes, I realized that without absolute focus, my single-minded determination (Ichinen) would become scattered.
ですから、毎日毎日、大切な1日なわけです。ですので、その一念を定めてお題目を上げていくという行動を続けていった時に、「あれも、これも、それも」と言っていたら、なかなか定まらないことになってくるという、私の性格上の問題があるのかなと思っているので、今日から改めてそこにチャレンジすることにいたしました。
Therefore, every single day is vital. When striving to establish that focused Ichinen and continuing the action of chanting Daimoku, trying to pursue “this, that, and everything all at once” only leads to a lack of resolution. Recognizing this as a personal trait I need to overcome, I decided to renew my challenge from today.
⚔️ 集中の一念：100%の力を一所に叩き込む哲学 / The Philosophy of Focused Ichinen
昨日、北海道の方からアドバイスをいただいたのですが、「5つのことを同時にやろうとしたら、もし100の力があったとしても20パーセントずつに分かれてしまう。それを1つに集中することによって、100に近い能力がそこに集中する」ということです。
Yesterday, I received valuable advice from a visitor who traveled all the way from Hokkaido: “If you try to do five things simultaneously, even if you possess 100% capacity, your power fragments into 20% increments. However, by concentrating entirely on one single objective, nearly 100% of your capability coalesces right there.”
ですので、20%ずつ祈っていて叶わないのであれば、1つのことであっても、それが限りなく成功していく祈り方をした方が、今の私にとってはとても価値があることになります。その祈りで、ここしばらく行ってみたいとそのように思っております。
Therefore, if praying for multiple things at 20% capacity yields no results, it is far more valuable for me now to choose a way of prayer where even a single objective achieves absolute victory. I am determined to sustain this focused prayer for the time being.
すべてはトライ＆エラーですね。チャレンジして失敗するかもしれない、またチャレンジして失敗するかもしれない。しかし、そのチャレンジしていく中に、失敗する中に、成功が必ず刻まれていくとそのように確信して、今日からスタートしております。
Everything is a matter of trial and error. I might challenge and fail, then challenge and fail again. However, I am profoundly convinced that through the continuous process of challenging—even amidst failures—absolute success is definitively engraved. With this conviction, I begin my day.
