おはようございます。島幸弘でございます。現在、著作の編纂に格闘する中、昨日から強い体調の不調を感じていました。

「休んだらどうだ？」という心の囁き。しかし御本尊を拝し問い直しました。「これは肉体の悲鳴か、それとも前進を阻む『魔』の仕業か」

Good morning. I am Yukihiro Shima. Amidst the intense battle of compiling my book, I have been feeling physically unwell since yesterday.

A voice whispered, “Why not take a rest?” But I looked at the Gohonzon and asked: “Is this a genuine physical need, or the work of ‘Mara’ (the devil) trying to stop my progress?”

御本尊を拝すると、右側中段に第六天の魔王がいます。これに気づけるかどうかが勝負です。毎日一万遍題目をあげているからこそ、この違和感が宿命転換を阻む壁であると見抜くことができるのです。

If you look at the Gohonzon, the Devil King of the Sixth Heaven is inscribed on the middle right. Recognizing this is the key. Because I chant 10,000 Daimoku daily, I can perceive this ailment as an obstacle to my karmic transformation.

自受法楽（じじゅほうらく）：苦楽をありのままに受け入れ、題目を唱えて生きる最高絶対の幸福境涯。体調の良し悪しに関わらず、すべてを丸ごと抱きしめて突き進んでいきます。

Self-Enjoyment of the Law (Jiju Horaku): The highest state of absolute happiness where one accepts both suffering and joy as they are, and continues to chant. Regardless of my health, I embrace everything and move forward.
